About Schleich:
Friedrich Schleich started out in 1946 with velvet-covered dolls made of wire and wood. Over the next decade, the Schleich family kept on growing, new friendships were made, and it became clear that things are better together. By the mid-50s, there were almost 70 different figures, including famous names like Walt Disney’s™ Bambi and Pluto.

Knabstrupper foals have their typical black spotted coat from birth. Not all Knabstruppers are the same. Although most of them sport a white dress under their black spots, some have a “snowflake” dress. At home, the dress is reversed. Their coat is dark and they are speckled with white spots. Fun Facts Knabstruppers’ spots change slightly over the course of a horse’s life.
